Wales soccer player Aaron Ramsey has raised the bounty for information regarding his vanished dog named Halo to $20,000.

The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff player, who now plays for Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, stated that Halo was spotted in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato state region.

The beagle, who went missing on 9 October, was equipped with a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey published a Google maps location of the spot she vanished from.

"Any information regarding our pet Halo kindly contact us. Big incentive for finding her. We are all hoping she is safe and comes home to our family quickly," Ramsey posted on social media.

Earlier Bounty and Heartfelt Pleas

Ramsey first announced that his dog had vanished a fortnight back and has subsequently shared numerous pictures of the beloved canine on Instagram.

A $ten thousand dollar bounty was initially announced, but with absence of information on Halo's status after a week, the player and his loved ones raised the reward.

"All we desire is our girl back," he said in an additional appeal on his online platforms after the elderly dog went missing.

The most recent image upload is a grayscale snapshot of the beagle snoozing, its head lying in the crook of the athlete's elbow, with the message: "What I wouldn't give to hold you once more sweet Halo."

Household's Concerns and Background

Ramsey has also shared a note from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on social media indicating they have a few "important questions" regarding the incident and fear the household "could possibly not obtain explanations".

"To this day we are still searching for Halo. I don't think we will," his wife's update stated.

The Welsh skipper signed with Mexican premier team Club Universidad Nacional earlier this year and had his first appearance in the Mexican league in the eighth month.

The Caerphilly-born athlete is the initial prominent British player to play in the Mexican league.
